Biographical Overview: Audiphaxad Peter, widely recognized by his stage name Guardian Angel, is a prominent Kenyan Gospel Afropop, Afrofusion, and Dancehall artist and songwriter, born in 1989. His discography includes several chart-topping singles that have established him as a significant figure within Kenya's gospel music scene. Notable tracks include Amazing Grace, Usikonde, Liwe Liwe, and Pendo. He is proficient in both guitar and piano.

Guardian Angel’s background is marked by humble beginnings; he was formerly a street youth in Butere and Nairobi. His early life included periods spent in juvenile detention and attending approved school. During his incarceration, he experienced a spiritual awakening and committed his life to faith. Upon release, he returned to Kibera to reside with his single mother and completed his high school education. His passion for music was evident during his schooling years, where he became the first Kenyan student to win ten awards at the National High School Music Festivals.

He commenced his music career while still in high school, recording his debut song “Amazing Grace” in 2009, with significant support from Jibril Blessing, a pivotal figure in his artistic development. The track gained extensive airplay, and by 2011, Guardian Angel had dedicated himself full time to music production and performance. Over the years, he has performed live across East Africa, ministering to diverse audiences spanning multiple age groups.

Guardian Angel is also the founder and CEO of the music label 7heaven. He describes his musical style as “music of the soul,” aimed at inspiring faith and hope by encouraging listeners to believe in God. His motivation remains to create relevant Christian music that endures over time. Currently, he is working on new projects slated for release later in 2017.
